This Shipping Policy explains how Outboard Engines Supplier processes, packages, and ships orders for outboard engines, parts, and accessories within the United States.

1. Shipping Area

We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States. For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or APO/FPO addresses, please contact us at info@outboardenginessuppllier.com before placing your order so we can confirm availability and provide an accurate freight quote. At this time we do not ship internationally.

2. Processing Time

  • Parts and accessories: Orders are typically processed and handed to the carrier within [1-3 business days] of payment confirmation.
  • Outboard engines: Due to crating, freight scheduling, and pre-shipment inspection, engine orders typically ship within [3-10 business days] of payment confirmation.
  • Processing times do not include weekends or holidays and may be extended during high-volume periods, which we will communicate to you.

3. Shipping Methods

3.1 Small Parts and Accessories

Smaller items are shipped via standard parcel carriers (such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS). Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.

3.2 Outboard Engines and Large/Heavy Items

Outboard engines and other large or heavy items are typically shipped via LTL (less-than-truckload) freight carrier on a pallet or in a crate. Freight shipments generally include the following:

  • Curbside delivery to the address provided, unless liftgate or inside delivery is purchased or arranged in advance.
  • liftgate service is recommended (and may be required) if you do not have a forklift, dock, or other equipment to unload a crated engine. This can be added at checkout or by contacting us before shipment.
  • The freight carrier will typically contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please ensure your phone number and email are accurate at checkout.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for parts and accessories are calculated automatically at checkout. Because outboard engines vary significantly in size and weight, freight costs for engines may be calculated at checkout, quoted to you before purchase, or invoiced separately depending on the item. If freight costs change due to incorrect address information or special delivery requirements requested after the order is placed, you may be responsible for the difference.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, we will email you tracking information (for parcel shipments) or the freight carrier's contact information and tracking/PRO number (for freight shipments). If you do not receive tracking information within the expected processing window, please contact us.

6. Inspecting Your Delivery

Important: Please inspect all crates, pallets, and packaging before signing for delivery, especially for freight-shipped engines. If you notice visible damage to the packaging or crate:

  • Note the damage in writing on the delivery receipt/bill of lading before signing.
  • Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the item itself.
  • Contact us within [48 hours] of delivery at info@outboardenginessuppllier.com so we can file a freight claim on your behalf.

Signing for a delivery as "free and clear" when damage is present may limit our ability to file a successful freight claim and may affect eligibility for a damage-related refund or replacement.

7. Delivery Appointments and Missed Deliveries

For freight deliveries requiring an appointment, please make every effort to be available at the scheduled time. If a delivery attempt fails due to no one being available, or if an incorrect address was provided, the customer may be responsible for any redelivery fees or storage charges assessed by the carrier.

8. Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us immediately at info@outboardenginessuppllier.com — we will do our best to update the address before the order ships, but cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed.

9. Title and Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. If your shipment is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us promptly so we can assist with a carrier claim.
